ANIMATED SHORT FILM AWARDS
Best Animated Short Film
Motivation: We are giving this award to a film with a very strong visual but also full of rich subtle details, where the incisive technique is found in a constant evolution inside the author’s body of work. The author transforms memories into a poetical story. In Conversano you can find a castle and now we crown a Regina!
Motivation: This special mention goes to a film where the poetical lightness is accompanied by the grace of a personal and unique graphical style.
Best Student Animated Short Film
Motivation: The award goes to a student work where you are surprised by the original and mature technique. It is a story about a boy who encounters the first time a glimpse of deeper intimacy between parents.
GRAND BASSIN by Héloïse Courtois, Chloé Plat, Victori Jalabert, Adèle Raigneau
(06’37, France, 2018)
